- Together, we finalize your sitemap and clarify what content is needed for your website.

Getting your content together
- There’s no guesswork here: we give you a checklist of exactly what you need. Enter your content at your own pace!
- Need a copywriter or photographer? Don’t worry – we will introduce you to someone we think is great for you!

Let’s talk design
- During your call with Andrea, we’ll work out the best colours, fonts and design direction for your website.
- Need more branding design? Add on our custom branding and logo design.

Now the magic happens!
- This is where it starts to really come together! We add your content and customize our theme to reflect your brand.

Review

What do I need to get started?
You really don’t need all that much. No fancy logo? Brand colours? No content? No problem! We can help with all of that. You just need:
- A service-based business or business idea
- A clear idea of your business goals, values, & mission
- The enthusiasm to get started right away
Can you make sure that my website meets accessibility requirements?
Yes! We take accessibility seriously (we want everyone to enjoy your new website). A few things we look out for include:
- Colour contrast between your text and backgrounds
- Meeting minimum font size recommendations
- Using alt tags for all images
- Using a proper heading structure on your site
How long does it typically take to design and develop a website?
With our Premium WordPress Theme Package we have already taken care of the user experience (UX) design and website development, so we can quickly customize your website and have you online quickly. We can have your website launched within two weeks if you are ready with your content.
Most clients want a bit more time to gather their content and typical project timelines are 4-6 weeks.
What is the difference between this package and your Custom WordPress Websites?
Our custom websites are designed for your unique business needs and goals. They start with a thorough user experience (UX) process so that we can tailor the website to your business.
Our WordPress Premium Theme Package starts after the UX process usually begins. We have created a package where the UX works for most service based businesses that don’t have custom needs, so the cost of a professionally designed website is more accessible to new businesses.
Why is this package cheaper than a custom website?
This package was created to bring professional websites to new businesses who are not ready to invest in a custom solution. Since the user experience (UX) design and website development work has already been completed for our in-house WordPress theme, our time is spent on customizations and making the theme yours.
You still have access to us as your guides throughout the process, but you are preparing your own content and images and we are using existing content blocks to create your site instead of designing from the ground up.
How do I know that this is the right website package for me?
We have created over 20 websites for clients using this package. These clients have included writers, small business owners, healthcare professionals, childcare programs, and more.
This package may be a good fit for you if:
- You are ready to get started right away
- You want your website to have the look and feel of a custom site without the higher price tag
- You can put aside a few hours a week to dedicate to the success of your website, including working on gathering content and images, and your kick off and design calls
- You are willing to write your own content (or hire a copywriter) so that your custom content planner can be filled out within two weeks of our kick off call
What if I don't want to write my own site copy?
We know that sometimes coming up with what feels like the right and best way to say who you are, what you do and why you’re different can be a challenge. If you would like assistance with the copy for your site, we’re happy to put you in touch with a few content strategists who will take great care of you.
What is the difference between your WordPress Premium Theme Package and any other free or paid WordPress theme?
With over 30,000 free and paid WordPress templates available, you might wonder what makes our theme package different (and a bigger investment). With templates obtained through WordPress or another third party theme marketplace, you simply get the theme, the documentation and some demo content leaving you to take care of everything else.
With our WordPress Premium Theme Package, we don’t give you the theme and say “good luck” — you get the same white glove service offered to our premium custom website clients. We work with you step-by-step to put together a site that meets your goals and needs, and we provide training and documentation to make sure you have all the tools you need to be able to manage your site after launch (if you choose to). Our theme is also built with scalability in mind meaning you have the tools and features available to you to build out future pages for your site — your site can easily grow as your business grows.
I am not a tech person. Will I really be able to manage the site on my own?
We firmly believe that website management does not need to be complex, but we do understand that it can be very overwhelming for some.
This is why we include a live training call and supporting documentation for all website projects. In our training we will go over everything you need to know to manage your site and can answer any questions you have. If you find you require more assistance with your site or are interested in regular support, we also offer maintenance packages for our WordPress Premium Theme clients.
