No time for your website? Do these three easy things to breathe new life into your site

Social Proof

Nothing sells your product or services better than a happy customer!

Add new testimonials to your website. If you haven’t asked for testimonials recently, now is a good time to ask a few happy clients.

If you are collecting Google Reviews, you can use a plugin to automatically display your reviews on your website. (Try this WordPress plugin.) You can even filter the reviews so that only 5 star reviews or ones that are recent are pulled onto your website. It’s an easy way to keep reviews fresh without worrying about the quality of the reviews that will show up.

New Content

Show customers that you are actively pushing new content to your website!

If you are active on Instagram the easiest way to display new content is with an embedded Instagram feed on your Home page. (Try this WordPress plugin.)

If you have a blog or news section on your website make sure you have recent posts so that any new visitors can see that you are currently active on the site (and it gives them a reason to visit again).

No time to write new content? Why not add a new spin to an older article from your site and repurpose it with a few lines of new content that position it as timely for your audience today.

New Visuals

If you have a bank of brand photos, why not swap in a few new photos?

New photos will instantly give your website a lift. These can be new product photos, lifestyle photos, or photos of you or your team in action. They don’t even have to be new photos – just ones that are not currently on your website.

If you’re worried about messing up the overall vibe of your site, check in with your web designer with the photos you are thinking of replacing to get a professional opinion on how they will affect your site.
